Oh my… 😮 We’ve been swept up by Spanish poetry the last couple of weeks, preparing for our next show @isettacafebistro This poet, Cristobal de Castillejo, is someone Chloé will be featuring, and with music by Fernando Obradors! He was page to an archduke. He traveled nearly all of Western Europe. He was a stalwart defender of traditional Spanish poetry. And some of his work was so naughty he ran afoul of the Spanish Inquisition, which nobody expected! Eventually he moved to Vienna and became a monk. He wasn’t very good at being a monk…you can probably guess from the poetry! But we can’t give it all away. Learn more about him AND the incredible music of Obradors! October 19th 🍂 Link in our bio 🎫

But we wanted to begin posting again with where it all started: our friends at Isetta Cafe Bistro ❤️ To kick off our fourth (fourth!! 🤯) season, we’re venturing into rugged territory. Composers we’ve never touched, languages we rarely or never sing in. And thus, join us for Off The Beaten Path 🌲🏕️🏔️ we’re excited to climb some musical mountains with you!
